WHAT DO WE DO?

We offer a range of traditional Scottish, Irish, Northumbrian and American dance and incidental folk-music that can be tailored to your special occasion.  Playing traditional acoustic instruments we seek to deliver our very own personal style.  Our emphasis is on providing ceilidh music that is both tuneful on the ear and a perfect accompaniment to every type of dance. Our versatile and melodious style of playing reaches out to all age groups, thereby ensuring that our blend of music will be enjoyed by the novice, discerning dancer and musical enthusiast alike.

We are based in Co. Durham, but can travel to neighbouring counties including Yorkshire, Northumberland and Cumbria. No matter what type or size of venue we can project our sound to your needs – anything from an acoustic set to the full PA treatment.

We know from experience that not everyone who attends a 'Ceilidh' knows what to do. Therefore we have a Caller, able to  guide first-timers through even the most intricate dance.  Above all the Caller ensures that everyone has a great time. Just being at a Boulavogue event will provide you with not only a sensational evening of music, dance and humour, but also with a host of delightful memories.
